Classroom of the Elite 4th Season: Second Year, First Semester

At first glance, Koudo Ikusei Senior High School appears to be a perfect paradise. Students are granted extraordinary freedom, and the school enjoys a prestigious reputation across Japan. In truth, however, things are far from ideal. The student body is divided into four classes—A through D—ranked strictly by merit, with only the top classes receiving preferential treatment. Kiyotaka Ayanokouji finds himself assigned to Class D, the section reserved for the school’s most problematic students. There, he encounters Suzune Horikita, a distant and unapproachable girl who believes she was wrongly placed in Class D and is determined to rise to Class A, as well as Kikyou Kushida, a friendly and popular class idol whose goal is to befriend everyone around her. While students remain in their assigned classes, the rankings themselves are fluid. Those in lower classes can climb the ladder by outperforming those above them. In Class D, there are virtually no restrictions on the methods students may use to advance. In a school governed by ruthless competition, can they overcome the odds and fight their way to the top?
