Japan has one of the greatest rates of kaiju emergence worldwide, meaning that fatal monster attacks are common there. Here comes the Japan Defense Force, a military force assigned to destroy kaiju. Kaiju-corp cleanup man Kafka Hibino has always wanted to join the force. But he has an unforeseen metamorphosis when given another chance to fulfill his childhood ambition. Now that he has turned into a kaiju himself, how can he battle them?
