Kaifeng Strange Tales: This Lord Bao is Not That Great

A legendary character appeared during the North Song Dynasty in ancient China at Kai Feng, the seat of the North Song. He is Zheng Bao, the governor. He is referred to as Bao Gong by the locals (Lord Bao). His extraordinary honesty, uprightness, impartiality, and courage in upholding justice set him apart in a corrupt regime and earned him the nickname "Justice Bao".
